ABOUT PRATISHTHA MOHANTY
As a rising sophomore at UC Berkeley, I am pursuing a dual degree— a B.A. in English Literature through the College of Letters & Science and a B.S. in Business Administration through the Haas School of Business. This interdisciplinary academic path reflects both sides of my identity: a strong communicator with a literary foundation and a strategic thinker with a deep interest in global business. My long-term goal is to build a career in the business side of aviation, with a focus on marketing, advertising, supply chain management, and strategic operations. I’m especially drawn to the fast-paced, international nature of the aviation industry and am open to traveling and working across the globe as part of this journey. I aspire to eventually lead and reshape a private aviation firm—redefining its business model and expanding its global reach. While my English degree strengthens my ability to communicate with clarity and nuance, my business education provides the tools for decision-making, leadership, and innovation. Together, these disciplines uniquely position me to thrive in an industry that values both operational expertise and compelling storytelling. Through my involvement in clubs, leadership roles, and hands-on experiences at Berkeley, I’m preparing to take private aviation to new heights—driven by curiosity, global ambition, and a willingness to explore new frontiers.
