A Passion for Sports: A Journey to Professionalize Sports in IndiaFrom an early age, I was drawn to sports. I played cricket for my state & zone, but I always felt that there was more to sports than just playing. I wanted to use my passion for sports to help others, & I knew that there was a lot of potential for sports to be a force in India.After retiring from cricket, I began working to professionalize sports in India. I started by collaborating with educational institutions to establish a \"student-athlete\" program. This program aims to help students balance their academic and athletic pursuits. I also worked to develop a standardized approach to sports training for children from as young as three yearsIn addition to my work at the grassroots, I have also had the privilege of working with some of India\'s top athletes. I have worked with MS Dhoni, Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, Aditi Chauhan, Olympians & Arjuna Awardee like Prakash Nanjappa & Rahul Banerjee. I have also sponsored numerous individual athletes in their pursuit of sporting excellenceI am a staunch advocate for the \"Right to Sports,\" & I have started the campaign extensively across India to ensure that every child has access to sports. I have helped to develop over 100 sports facilities in schools, & I have consulted for the Government of Haryana\'s \"SVSU” in overall development of SportsI have worked with the IPL team of KKR & Globally Leading the Grassroots & Talent Development Program of Delhi CapitalsMy contributions to sports development have been recognized through prestigious honors. In 2019, I was conferred with the title of \"Sports Leader of the Year\" by Mr. Madan Lal, a member of India\'s WC-winning cricket team, and Manoj Kumar, a Commonwealth Gold medalist in wrestling. In 2022, I was awarded the \"Emerging Industry Expert\" in the under-30 age category.I am passionate about sports, & I believe that they have the power to change lives. I am committed to using my expertise to help professionalize sports in India & to make them accessible to everyone.I believe that sports can teach us discipline, teamwork, & sportsmanship. They can also help us to develop our physical & mental fitness. I want to create a world where sports are an integral part of every child\'s education, & where India is a leading force in the world of sports.I am confident that we can achieve this goal if we work together.
