Coordinate and control all trials on the farms, undertaking/overseeing trials, gathering data, finalising reports and communication of results to internal departments. The work includes efficacy trials for new varieties, irrigation, nutrition, pruning, crop protection and harvesting techniques. The findings of these trials will be used to maximise plant growth rates/yield under different environmental conditions.Coordinate the agronomy program for growers and implement findings for best practice which will be incorporated into the day to day operations of the growers vineyards. Conduct field days and forums to assist in grower relationships / dissemination of information.Support production activities at the farm through visits and delivery of timely information; Maintain a professional network within government departments, agronomists, consultants and associations
