As a Sr. Test Engineer, I handle following responsibilities on day-to-day basis- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for Finacle modules based on business requirements and functional specifications- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, product management, and support) to deliver a seamless customer experience- Create detailed user journey documents and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)- Analyze, troubleshoot, and report issues using various testing tools to ensure comprehensive defect management- Collaborate closely with the development team to resolve defects efficiently and ensure high-quality releases- Participate in design and development of test cases and processes, ensuring alignment with best practices- Maintain and manage manual test suites for functional, integration, regression, and performance testing- Actively engage in code reviews, requirements walkthroughs, and design sessions to improve product quality and reduce defects- Mentor and guide junior team members, helping them improve their testing skills and overall capabilities- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and adopt new testing tools and techniques to enhance testing efficiency- Continuously seek to improve the testing process, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
