   At Salesforce, I lead volunteering programs across India aligned with our global 1-1-1 model (1% time, product, and equity)⁠. Develop and execute strategic employee impact programs for Salesforce employees across India, enhancing community engagement and volunteer. I work at the intersection of purpose and people, driving initiatives that empower employees to create meaningful social change through volunteerism and philanthropy.Key Contributions- Program Development & Grants: Design and manage philanthropic programs in education, workforce development, and sustainability, ensuring they meet local needs and align with Salesforce’s global goals. Oversee strategic grants to deliver sustainable community impact- Volunteer Time Off (VTO): Drive adoption of Salesforce’s VTO policy (up to 56 volunteer hours/year per employee), enabling purpose-led team experiences. Develop toolkits and curate cause-aligned volunteering opportunities in collaboration with business teams- Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the India lead for employee volunteering. Collaborate with global teams and internal stakeholders (PR, Employee resource groups, Legal, Employee Success, Corporate Branding, etc.) to scale impact programming- Employee Impact Council: Co-lead the Employee Impact Council across India—mentoring champions, co-creating initiatives, and amplifying grassroots efforts across offices. Recognize council-driven contributions through leadership channels- NGO Partnerships: Build and manage strong partnerships with NGOs and educational institutions, co-developing high-impact volunteering projects and ensuring quality delivery and compliance- Events, Storytelling & Strategy: Lead campaigns like Global Volunteer Month, Giving Weeks, in the community, in-office volunteering events etc. Work with comms teams to spotlight impact stories, celebrate employee contributions, and promote a culture of giving.
