Procurement and Supply Chain Lead with 5+ years’ experience in automotive engineering and R&D environments, specialising in direct procurement, NPI sourcing, and supplier strategy for complex, low-volume and pre-production programmes.I currently operate as Supply Chain Lead at Vantage Power (Allison Transmission), where I am responsible for leading day-to-day procurement and supply chain activities across multiple engineering programmes, and acting as a key point of contact for procurement-related decisions and stakeholder coordination.My experience ranges end-to-end sourcing across the product lifecycle — from early concept and supplier selection through prototype, pre-production and build support. I work closely with Engineering, Quality, Finance and Operations to balance cost, quality and delivery in fast-paced R&D environments, often dealing with bespoke machined parts, fabrications, electrical and mechanical systems.Key strengths include:• Direct procurement and NPI sourcing in engineering-led organisations• Supplier strategy, SRM, RFQs and commercial negotiation• Leading procurement activities across multiple concurrent R&D projects• Designing and implementing procurement processes and governance from first principles• Acting as escalation point for supply, quality and delivery risk• Mentoring junior team members and providing functional leadershipI hold a master’s in operations & supply chain management, a BEng in Aerospace Engineering, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, and I am nearing completion of CIPS Level 5.I am now looking to formalise my progression into Senior Buyer, Supply Chain Lead or Procurement Lead roles where I can combine technical procurement expertise with leadership responsibility in engineering-driven environments.
