About Prathiba Kumar

Computer architecture and performance architecture professional with demonstrated expertise spanning workload analysis, microarchitecture performance analysis and correlation (pre-silicon and post-silicon), competitive performance and compiler performance optimizations. I currently work on research and development for the Maia accelerator at Microsoft. Prior to my current role, I have 17 years of industry experience working on high-end server CPU ecosystems at IBM and AMD. I have led and delivered complex projects in performance & hardware bringup and created mindshare for innovative performance analysis best practices in all my roles. Demonstrated track record of innovation in technical deliverables as well as via publications and patenting. I led AMD Women’s Forum for AMD Bangalore and played a role in influencing AMD’s DEI philosophy in practice. I am passionate about nurturing a passion for engineering in juniors, interns, supporting careers of women in engineering and giving back to society.
