About Prathap Narayanappa

I build products where physical systems meet digital experience — and where the gap between the two is where users either trust a product or abandon it. My background is unusual for a PM: I started in aerospace structural analysis, moved into connected appliance R&D (including a patented washing machine control system), and spent the last five years in EV and automotive software. That path wasn\'t accidental. It means I can sit with an embedded systems engineer and understand what they\'re trading off, then sit with a UX researcher and understand what the user is actually feeling — and translate between those worlds without losing fidelity in either direction. At Ather Energy, I worked on the sensory and experiential layer of an EV — the design space that opens up when there\'s no combustion engine, no legacy convention, and no consumer expectation to fall back on. At Stellantis, I managed OTA platform infrastructure where a bad deployment isn\'t a bug report — it\'s a fleet recall risk. I\'m currently focused on developing as and advisory leader and consultant. Open to conversations at the intersection of mobility, hardware-software products, and 0→1 platform work.
