At my current company, I’m responsible for developing and maintaining a robust SDK that powers our in-house NLP-based chatbot. The chatbot interprets user queries (e.g, account balance requests) and passes them to the SDK, which handles data pre-transformation and securely invokes backend APIs.My key contributions include: Implemented pre-transformation logic to standardize and adapt incoming data before API consumption. Integrated HashiCorp Vault for secure secret and credential management. Enabled encrypted property support in application.properties for secure configuration management. Integrated Swagger/OpenAPI for clear, auto-generated API documentation and improved collaboration.This work has improved the chatbot’s backend efficiency, enhanced security, and streamlined API integration.
