Peter is a senior leader on Stantec\'s Carbon Impact team and champions holistic sustainability and embodied carbon reduction. With over 11 years of experience in the buildings industry, he strives to bring sustainable solutions that are holistic, tailored, and unique to his clients and projects. Peter is the Carbon Lead for the Stantec\'s Education sector, with a diverse background that spans across various sectors including K-12 and post-secondary education, government - federal, provincial and municipal, commercial, industrial, sports and rec, aviation, tenant improvements, healthcare, and more. This breadth of experience uniquely equips him to understand, implement, and eventually help clients tell their project sustainability story. Peter has worked closely with the Leadership Board of the Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC) Alberta for over 5 years and served as Emerging Green Professionals Committee Chair empowering young professionals in the industry. In 2018, Peter was recognized with the Emerging Green Leader award by CaGBC for his commitment and contribution to advocating, educating, and practicing green buildings. With a passion for positive transformation in our built environment and collaboration with his clients and the industry, Peter looks forward to leaving behind a better, healthier, and sustainable earth for his daughter and future generations.
