About Prateek Kumar
My aim is to help others access education, training and employment opportunities leading to a better quality of life while working towards the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Key highlights have included: managing large-scale impact programs with a specific focus on community training and livelihood generation.As a Senior Associate at Pearl Consulting, I worked with a leading tech client to manage and deliver public policy programs around the pillar of economic impact. I managed partnerships with program implementation agencies and not-for-profits for engaging government partners to deliver impact programs.Prior to Pearl Consulting, I worked with Mosaic Workskills as Deputy Head of Placements and managed placements for government-funded and corporate-funded (CSR) skill development and livelihood projects. I also developed and implemented social impact programs. These helped students, mostly drawn from marginalized communities in both urban and rural areas, to become work-ready for the industry. I was promoted to the role of Senior Manager, leading on all aspects of big-ticket projects across multiple states.I have also worked with A&A Business Consulting, an accelerator for SMEs to ensure that they had the right infrastructure, knowledge and skill set in place for when they were ready to scale. I acted as their business development coach and connected them with key consultants who could help them on their journey.I have an MBA from the University of Mississippi and have completed certificated partnership brokering training from the Partnership Brokers Association.
