About Prateek Mallick
Hello, my name is Prateek Mallick. I am based out of Bhubaneshwar, Odisha, however, I have arrived at IIM Mumbai from my current residence in Patna. I have completed my graduation from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal (NIT Bhopal) in 2022, having studied Electronics and Communication as my B.Tech subject. I have a total work experience duration of 16 months, working at HDFC Bank as a Functional Analyst. In my tenure at HDFC Bank, I was responsible for managing an assigned bank application (Prepaid Cards) and was responsible for monitoring, planning enhancements and co-ordinating smooth operation of the application. During my graduation, I was a part of the college football team for a short while, but I had to quit because of an injury sustained during a friendly game. Additionally, I was a part of the management team of Technosearch 2019, an annual Tech festival hosted at our college, and have helped in organizing various events during that year. I come from a nuclear family consisting of my father, mother and a younger sister. My family has taught me a lot about being responsible, emotional values and working hard towards my goals. I love playing football on occasion, and I follow football culture very religiously. My favorite team is Real Madrid, and my favorite player to watch is Toni Kroos. Also, I love playing video games, both single and multiplayer with people. I am a fierce competitor, and I love challenging expectations.
