ABOUT PRATEEK DEWAN

Prateek is a public policy professional with 14+ years of experience working with the state and central government agencies across various assignments both as a management consultant as well as a part of the industry. He brings with him a combined skill set of business consulting and public policy to work on corporate and government affairs. He has experience of working with a diverse set of stakeholders in the policy development spectrum ranging from various central & state government ministries, law enforcement agencies, statutory bodies, think tanks, business chambers and industry bodies and international & national funding agencies and civil society to provide him a holistic view of the policy development ecosystem in the country and deliver on policy and business objectives.His area of work spans across the governance and public policy development spectrum. This includes areas ranging from development and evaluation to implementation & assessments. Other core areas include business and corporate affairs strategy, regulatory, licensing and compliance matters, governance frameworks and safeguards to government schemes, incentives, public procurement and working actively with the government on policy advocacy for business and social good.His key skills also include advisory on business modelling, evaluations, business development, project and program management & impact evaluations and conducting commercial and financial feasibility studies.His sectors of work range from E-commerce & FDI - Retail & Warehousing, Fintech and Automotive, Transportation Infrastructure (Drone ports, Vertiports, Airports, MMLPs, SEZs, Ports, Highways and EV Charging), Logistics (UAVs - Drones, General Aviation, Roadways, Hyperlocal, Inland Waterways, Bike Taxi and Courier), Digital Public Infrastructure & Goods (DPI & G) and Interoperable Networks (ONDC), Social Development & Security -(Skill Development, Education, Livelihoods & Rural Development, MSMEs), Foreign Trade and SEZs, Urban Infrastructure (Smart Cities) and matters related to state excise. In his previous stints, he has worked as a consultant with firms such as KPMG, Deloitte Consulting and Frost & Sullivan in India for nearly a decade. He has also worked with ByteDance India and Dunzo Digital leading public policy roles in India to support corporate, legal and government affairs. He holds a specialization in Public Policy from IIM Calcutta and Post Graduate Degree from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai in International Trade & Management.
