From NIT to the UPSC Exam: An Inspiring Journey of Perseverance and Triumph Embracing the Challenge: From Mechanical Engineering to the UPSC Dream My journey began with a mechanical engineering background from NIT Jaipur, Coming from an engineering background initially sought social mobility and recognition through the UPSC exam. However, this path led me to profound personal growth and a deeper understanding of societal dynamics. I learned that true success lies not in material wealth or status, but in the positive impact one can make on others\' lives. Facing Setbacks, Staying Strong: The Importance of Resilience Success in the UPSC prelims on my first attempt was a morale booster, but the journey was far from smooth. I discovered that resilience, courage, and perseverance are not just concepts but essential traits for overcoming setbacks. Through this experience, I embraced the idea that flexibility and an open mind can lead to success in unforeseen ways. Discovering the Power of “Amor Fati” and Mastering New Skills In 2021, my path took me to the Delhi School of Economics for an MBA in International Business. Interacting with peers from diverse backgrounds expanded my knowledge and perspective. I delved into analytics tools and statistical techniques, which are crucial for data-driven decision-making in public policies and business strategies. The Ratan Tata Library became a treasure trove of resources, and I found solace in its wealth of knowledge. It was a sanctuary where I could always turn to for answers and inspiration. Sharing My Story to Motivate and Help Others My time at ManpowerGroup provided insights into job market trends, skill demands, and effective resume strategies. My goal is now to support the community by creating a platform for skill development, career counselling, and job search assistance in a non-profit framework. I am currently working on a platform aimed at democratizing education and skill development, helping aspirants with exam preparation, and offering alternative career planning options. My passion for social entrepreneurship drives me to make a meaningful impact on society.
