With a foundation in civil engineering and a commitment to addressing regional challenges that shape our infrastructure, I bring a professional and unwavering attention to detail to every project. My expertise in structural analysis, combined with proficiency in tools like CSI SAFE, ETABS, Revit, and Python, allows me to deliver precise and innovative solutions. My work spans diverse sectors, including transportation and infrastructure, with contributions to high-profile projects like the Union Station Train Shed in Toronto. There, I conducted gravity and seismic load analyses, developed Excel-based heat maps for slab utilization, and streamlined workflows with Python and Mathcad, enhancing project efficiency and communication. I hold a Master of Engineering in Structural Engineering from the University of Western Ontario (Dean’s Honor List), where I focused on finite element analysis and modeled structures like cable bridges and high-rise buildings, adhering to codes like CHBDC and NBCC 2020. I also earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Ottawa (Cum Laude, Dean’s Honor List), with coursework in structural design, foundation engineering, and advanced concrete and steel behavior. My academic projects, such as optimizing structural models under wind and snow loads, honed my ability to balance safety and efficiency. Outside of work, I’m energized by triathlons, diet and fitness, meditation, reading non-fiction books, and researching the financial markets. With a love for travel and a G-driver’s license, I’m open to relocation and eager to bring my skills to new challenges.
