Store Technology, Modernization A part of the Store checkout and pay teams. We maintain the customer and employee sales experiencing across over 300 Nordstrom stores. This involves a large eco-system of inter-related technologies that span almost the entire data set of Nordstrom, as well as collective operations across stores and in some cases fulfillment/distribution centers. The technology set is diverse and responsibilities span from product/customer centric areas, to backend data aggregation and data flow.(all interfacing from and back to enterprise federated data services) I have worked on two greenfield projects to modernize the applications for customer ordering, product search and order tracking within our Nordstrom stores. The applications build uses ReactJs UI with Sprint Java backend services hosted on AWS EC2. I worked on two such products that have gone from POC to production successfully within months. We continue to grow and expand the feature set of POS and Ordering to meet customers needs, both present and future.
