Driving efforts for new product development in line with customer’s / client’s expectations, manufacturing capability, strategic need etc. Responsible for design range covering new tyres for markets covering Asia, Oceania, Africa, Europe and for different segments covering Heavy truck, Bus, etc Sustaining current products via engineering improvements and legislative compliance. Accountable for developing product portfolio & enabling overall system up gradation for smooth process efficiency. Technical point of contact for field alerts and manufacturing issues in factories. Carrying out risk analysis, industrialization and testing of products for diverse markets. Conducting Process Feasibility Review along with supplier to ensure the competence of the supplier. Playing the role of Project Leader and coordinating with cross-functional teams to drive new product designs from concept to market-launch. Shouldering the onus of concluding all design related queries with vendors and customers. Conducting product specification review meetings with local as well as international customers / vendors. Ensuring timely completion of all project specifications, design, drawings & requisitions for areas of responsibility assigned and conducting design review meetings.
