Route planning simulation analysis automation: automated the route planning simulation analysis procedure, reducing the total analysis time from 72 hrs to 3 hrs. The scripts were written in Python, deployed using AWS batch, AWS lambda and orchestrated using AWS step functions. Route cost prediction service: designed, developed, and deployed a micro service that estimates the length of a delivery route using XGBoost. This service is used by various route planners to generate optimal routes for package deliveries. The service is written in Java, deployed using AWS lambda and AWS APIGateway. Route recosting service: prototyped a microservice that “recosts” actual delivery routes using our multiple route cost models which aids in the analysis of our route costing models along with model error attribution. The service is written in Java, deployed using AWS lambda, and orchestrated using AWS APIGateway.
