These functions are related to the project scheduling activities and project execution of major Industrial projects. Duties & Responsibilities• Participate in the planning for, and preparation of, planning and scheduling control systems and other practices to give engineering and construction supervisors the means to evaluate and improve the efficiency of their project execution.• Review and analysis of Stakeholders / General Contractor (GC) initial Planning Package (Schedules, Network, Critical Path Analysis, procedures, Progress Measurement System(PMS), Progress reports), Schedule Quality check, Baseline schedule and evaluate & validate progress in the reports.• Provide staff guidance to engineering and construction supervisors in one or more areas of planning and scheduling expertise by analyzing and evaluating all pertinent data.• Review work of scheduling analysts and check the reports and data developed are in accordance with established methods and requirements, and make recommendations for future study or revisions.• Participate in the analysis of major industrial projects to plan the most effective execution sequence in light of experience and current industry practices.• Discuss, coordinate, and resolve long-term and short-term planning and scheduling problems with personnel throughout the Department and with contractor organizations. Act as technical consultant when required.
