About Prashant Vishwakarma
I am a second-year undergraduate in Chemical Engineering at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT), Jais, with a growing passion for solving chemical process challenges through optimization and fundamental engineering principles.My core interests lie in Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, and Chemical Process Synthesis. I am deeply interested in understanding how molecular level interactions influence large scale industrial processes. I am constantly seeking opportunities to bridge the gap between theoretical coursework and practical Industrial application.Currently, I am actively engaged in impactful research on the \"Process Optimization and Synthesis of Sterically Hindered Phosphite Antioxidants (Irgafos 168)\" under the guidance of Dr. V.S. Sistla. In this project, I am developing a low temperature amine-mediated synthesis route to minimize thermal degradation, optimizing crystallization kinetics using solvent-antisolvent systems to achieve high-purity crystalline yields and validating product quality using characterization techniques like FTIR spectroscopy and Melting Point analysis.I’m always looking to grow through new challenges, expand my network, and contribute to meaningful projects in the chemical engineering, energy, and sustainability domains.
