About Prashant Singh

Prashant works as a Senior Data Scientist at Walmart and holds a Master’s Degree in Business Analytics at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Prior to this, he worked with an Indian start-up - Teras New & Renewable Energies LLP (TNRE LLP, part of Teras Tech Solutions Pvt Ltd) for 3 years, where he managed engineering-contract projects, analyzed a variety of data, and designed solutions on Internet of Things (IOT) platform for quick decision making.During his tenure at TNRE LLP as a Director, he played a pivotal role in raising capital, business development, as well as solutioning. This experience has also given him significant exposure to the power & energy industry with special focus on solar power. He has a degree in IT, and is skilled in computer programming (OOP, Web, and Statistical) as well as data analytics. He has the ability to lead, motivate and mentor a team. His core interest lies in using analytics, machine learning, and product development for solving industry problems. On the co-curricular side, he is very passionate about cars, fitness, and soccer.
