Job Responsibilities 1. Time Management Primary responsibility is to Purchase all indirect material (Tooling, Machine Spares, Consumables, Capital and Proto type parts, Import Purchase & Aftermarket Parts etc) on time.2. Purchasing Management Supply intimation to vendors through scheduling lines. Follow up with suppliers to complete committed delivery Schedules and ensure Spare parts, Consumables availability. Release of purchase orders for imported parts and coordinating with logistics Dept. for timely clearance of the imported parts. Maintain global communication for leveraging supplier cost competitiveness and global sourcing opportunities. Sourcing Strategy formulation & implementation. Market analysis and benchmarking, Supplier selection, Procurement. Conduct detailed costing exercise and negotiations. Finalize Commercial for all Indirect spare parts ( Machine spare parts ), Consumables ( Oil, Propane gas, Chemicals, Office Stationery, etc ), Capital ( Capital Equipment ), Proto Type Parts ( Proto type parts for Engineering team ), Tooling ( Jig & Fixtures, Special Tools etc )3. Cross Functional Area To coordinate activities relating to other departments like Materials, Assembly, Operations & Maintenance dept. Coordination activity with logistics dept for clearance of imported parts.
