I am a dedicated healthcare professional with a Basic B.Sc. in Nursing, who transitioned from hands-on patient care to the analytical world of medical coding and auditing. My journey began as a staff nurse, but my passion for clinical accuracy and data integrity led me to the field of inpatient medical coding.I started my coding career at GeBBS Healthcare Solutions as an Inpatient Medical Coder, where I was promoted to Line Trainer within just one year—recognition of my commitment to quality and my ability to mentor others. After two years at GeBBS, I joined Cotiviti India Pvt. Ltd, Pune, as an Auditor in Clinical Validation of IP DRG. Within two years, I was promoted twice—first to Senior Auditor, and then to Team Coach. I’ve also gained valuable experience auditing Inpatient Rehabilitation Facilities (IRF).I hold a CCS certification from AHIMA and bring strong expertise in ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and Inpatient Rehabilitation Services. I’m a detail-oriented, analytical, and skilled coder with a solid foundation in clinical practices.
