ABOUT PRASHANT PARMANU
I have previously worked on finding new drug targets, natural remedies, alternative drugs and methods, repurposing of drugs and photodynamic therapy for drug resistant Candidiasis and other fungal diseases. I have also done some exciting research on the social connotations of health and well-being within Indian sub-populations. I am a firm believer in open science and interdisciplinary research, and a strong proponent of science communication, public policy and sustainability. Apart from research, I tend to spend my time working on new articles for different media, learning relevant data analysis tools and volunteering for social causes that I care about most.
