EWAC Alloys Limited, started as a joint venture of Larsen & Toubro Limited, India & Eutectic Castolin Group, Switzerland. Prof. Wasserman, founder of Eutectic Castolin and Mr. Henning Holck-Larsen, founder of Larsen & Toubro, laid the foundation of Eutectic Division in India in the year 1962. In the year 2011, EWAC Alloys Limited became a wholly owned subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro Limited. In Nov 2017, EWAC Alloys Limited was acquired by the US based Colfax group, a diversified industrial multinational conglomerate, and is now operating as an independent entity, serving customers in India and across the world.
