As a hands on curious developer and SME with our client Marchex, I work on most aspects of Phone Call Analytics platform, from some part of Call routing to the Java Script phone rewrites on Customer\'s website, event notifications framework, post call processing, services to power Analytics dashboards,REST Apis for interacting with product, Integration with partners API and everything in between. This entire product suits spreads across many different micro-services connecting with one another with REST APIs and Kafka, and are written in Perl, Scala, Java, Python with PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB, Apache Druid and Elastic-Search, entirely on Linux platform. I work with product manager to add a new feature/fix bug for entire suite of applications.Proactively participating with Customer success to work out some of the not so common customer issues, often suggesting out of box solutions. I work with my junior engineers to suggest/propose solution and mentor them on various part of functional/implementation aspect of product. Being a Linux enthusiast, I also teach them Linux internals and the most important, the shell and its friends. On platform modernization, helped team dockerizing services and porting them to K8s, Along with migrating to cloud platform from Data Center.I also many time participate on priority on-call issue to firefight high-severity issues at odd ours.
