Accountable for development of new/resourcing parts as per the APQP methodology and series produced parts for HPDC commodity.Drawing feasibility study based on drawing & supplier processes.Supporting R&D & Suppliers for performing DFM,DFA & provide technical inputs to resolve DFM & DFA concerns during Product & Process development.Process planning & finalization for proto & serial production with supplier.Quality planning(DVP,PV,MSA,SPC,PPM & Warranty sign off,Safe Launch plan,Agreement of Inspection,Gauge Planning)for all New/Resourced Part development to achieve with First Time Right & Everytime Time Right.Identify & facilitates concept of the FTG,PokaYoke required for the development of the part/product to meet design & quality requirements at supplier.Conducting & prove out Production trail run of Tools,Fixtures & manufacturing process at Supplier as per PPAP guidelines.Conducting MSA & SPC study as per guideline.Joint inspection of parts as per drawing for dimensional,Metallurgical & functional aspects.Conducting Supplier process audits, Production Trial Run audit & PPAP Audit to identify Gaps & ensuring appropriate corrective actions.Accordingly approval for dispatch of Proto Tooled and PPAP parts.Capacity assessment & analysis for various process.Conduction Cycle time study and R@R demonstration to meet capacity requirement.VA/VE proposals to reduce the cost of existing parts.Defect analysis,implementation & evaluation of measures taken to improve CAR/CAPA & encouragage supplier team to achieve goals for on time 8D closures & effectiveness monitoring for measures taken.Analyzes Supplier chronic issues with use of statistical & analytical tools.Supplier upgradation through technical assistance to supplier including training,counselling,guiding etc.Work as a co-ordinator between suppliers & internal functions/plants to clarify requirements,eliminate confusion & improve closure lead time & accuracy.Monitor & communicate supplier performance of all key suppliers.
