Worked in combination products (Delivery Devices – Prefilled syringe with needle safety device, pre-filled pen & Autoinjectors) & other medical devices.• Lead the design and development process of the medical devices, in compliance to internal procedures including EU and FDA requirements from design phase up through to production.• Co-ordinate with cross functional teams to manage the development of design and risk management documentation, Design Specifications, Design Verification and Validation reports.• Develop new concepts and design modules for medical devices. Co-ordinate with manufactures to investigate and resolve problems with the existing designs.• CAD support for various devices - Update/modify the existing designs in PLM (Agile/Enovia) system through Engineering Change Orders(ECO).• Reverse Engineering - Conversion of scanned 3D models to parametric CAD models using Geomagic Design X software.• Performed stack-up analysis using Powerstaxx tool and created TSA reports, ensured the improvement in the product quality and reliability thus reducing the associated cost.
