After a year of casual employee at Crompton Greaves in 1993, my career in Iron & Steel industry started in 1994 at Sathavahana Ispat Ltd. Subsequently, I served in Aparant Iron & Steel (DEMPO), SJK Steel (KALYANI) and BMM Ispat. Currently working with Minera Steel and Power Private Limited as a HOD - Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation Mr. Prasanna Kumar Comes with rich & diverse experience over 30 years in various responsibilities In the field of Electrical, Instrumentation and Automation of Blast Furnace, Basic Oxygen Furnace, Ladle Refining Furnace, Wagon Tripler, Continuous Casting Machine, Captive Power Plant, B.F Gas fired boiler, Waste Heat Recovery Boiler, Coal fired Boiler, Sponge Iron Plant, Induction Furnace, Iron Ore Pellet Plant, Coal based Producer Gas Plant, 33 KV and 110 KV Substation.

Specially worked for Project 0.6 MTPA Straight grate technology Iron Ore Pellet Plant and its Major imported equipments like Straight grate Indurating Machine which supplied by URAL MASH, Russia. Know how Technology, Plant Detailed engineering, Erection Supervision & Commissioning supervision done by of VT Corp. and Ferro green Technology, Bangalore. For the imported equipments final despatch Inspections visited to RUSSIA, CHINA and in India- Chennai, Bangalore, Bhilai, Kolkata, Delhi & Raipur.
