Joined MVML as Dy. Manager PVT & got promoted as Manager in 2011. Spearheaded the DAC (Drive Away Chassis) & PDT (Plant Driveline Team) commodities in PVT such as Chassis, Suspension, Steering, Wheel-End, Brake, Clutch, transmission, Axles, etc. Resolution of Field Quality and Internal MFG concerns. Supervised the team of 8 engineers, thereby developing their competencies. Developed strategies to reduce in-field failures on existing/ upcoming models and reduced the internal concerns. Deftly maintained the PVT (Plant Vehicle Team) Department and processes for PVT to achieve best score for system in MVML. Effectually created Warranty Cell & Technical Analysis Centre and comprehensive competency mapping process for the same, thereby increasing the speed of concern resolution. Handled quality improvements for field failures of key suppliers such as M/s Sona Koyo, M/s JK Tyres, M/s Gabriel India Ltd. by installing poka yoke as well as implementing advance Quality systems. Established warranty recovery process that resulted into recovery of 30% against zero in last financial year. Process for orientation of new joinees. Identified training need, resulting to achieve speed in concern resolution and acquired gallop score of 4.95 (Highest in organisation) for consecutive 2 years. Addressed various failures in steering system as well suspension system systematically by QC story methodology and vigorous reviews with supplier management. Being first person in the dept, settled the entire department from writing up quality systems - recruitment of officers. Deftly arranged the key training for the Officers of Dept.
