ABOUT PRASAD SARIPALLI

Sr Distinguished Engineer at PayPal - the world’s largest digital payments platform focused on Cloud, Data and AIML for digital finance; most recently served as the Head of AI and Data at US Bank, 5th largest bank in America, responsible for defining, leading and executing the global Technology teams’ AI, ML and Data strategy. Stanford faculty and experienced technology leader (CTO/EVP) with expertise in AI, ML, Data and Distributed Systems (Cloud Engineering) with experience building and leading large, global technology orgs to deliver AIML value via SaaS. Recently, I served as a Distinguished Engineer at Capital One, and as the Vice President of AIML at MindBody Inc - a portfolio company of Vista which manages the world\'s fourth-largest enterprise software company after Microsoft, Oracle, and SAP. Earlier, I served as VP Data Science at Edifecs, an industry premier healthcare information technology partnership platform and software provider, where we built Smart Decisions ML & AI Platform with ML Apps Front. Earlier, I served as CTO and VP Engineering at Secrata.com, provider of Military grade Security and Privacy solutions developed and deployed over the past 15 years at Topia Technology for the Federal Government and the Enterprise, and as CTO & EVP at ClipCard, a SaaS based Hierarchical Analytics and Visualization platform. At IBM, I served as the Chief Architect for IBM\'s SmartCloud Enterprise At Runaware, I served as the Vice President of Product Development. As a Principal Group Manager at Microsoft, I co-led the development of virtualization stack on Windows 7 responsible for shipping Virtual PC7 and Windows XP Mode on Windows 7. Prior to that, I served Citrix as a Dev Manager for the group which built Citrix Presentation Server (now known as Citrix XenApp). At Battelle, I led R&D projects building innovative software and technologies biomedical/health, energy and climate change applications in collaboration with major research institutions. I have published work and helped ship software/services in the field of AIML, NLP, Data Engineering and Distributed Systems (Cloud Engg.) I have received doctoral training separately in Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Florida, and post-doctoral training from the University of Texas at Austin’s Institute for Computational and Engineering Sciences (ICES). As an Adjunct Professor at Stanford and Northeastern University I teach Machine Learning, AI, Robotics NLP, Distributed Systems and Cloud Engineering.
