I am a seasoned professional in the field of internal audit, risk management, compliance, and fraud prevention, with more than 20 years of experience in the aviation and consultancy sectors. I hold the credentials of Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and Master of Finance Management (MFM). Currently, I am the Associate Director - Governance Risk & Compliance at IndiGo, India\'s largest airline by market share and fleet size. In this role, I am responsible for overseeing the internal audit, risk management, and compliance functions across the organization, covering statutory and aviation regulations. I am also involved in implementing digital initiatives to ensure data-driven and real-time control mechanisms, as well as spearheading the ISO 27•••••22 and GDPR standards within IndiGo as the Finance Privacy Champion. Additionally, I have contributed to the SAP-GRC Access Management implementation team as a Team Leader. Previously, I established the in-house internal audit department at GoAir, another leading Indian airline, where I conducted risk-based internal audits, fraud investigations, and internal financial controls. My mission is to enhance the governance, risk, and compliance culture within the aviation industry, and to leverage my expertise in fraud prevention and data analytics to protect and optimize the business performance and reputation of the organizations I work with.
