In my current role as Group Chief Information Security Officer (Group-CISO), I am responsible for defining, architecting and implementing the cyber-security strategy across the Aditya Birla Group (ABG). During last few years, we conceptualized & built the Group’s Cyber Defense and Command Center (CDCC), which monitors, detects and responds to cyber threats using advanced tools and threat intelligence framework.We have also created a cybersecurity framework to cover areas like Attack Surface monitoring, Threat Intelligence and threat hunting, cloud security, operational Security technology, Application Security, Endpoint Security and incident response. Additionally, led the Group’s response and recovery for major cyber incidents and is establishing a Data Privacy Center of Excellence (CoE) to protect personal data in compliance with regulations.In summary, I have been pivotal in securing ABG’s digital transformation. He currently heads the entire Information Security portfolio, overseeing critical areas such as Cyber Defense and Command Centre, Threat Management, Vulnerability Management, Cloud Security, and OT/IOT Security, ensuring that all security initiatives align with the Group’s long-term business goals.
