About Prarthana M
Being a apparel designer for the last 10 years has evolved my outlook towards design and life. To design and create is my passion for which I have worked in different industry setups - retail, export and Ecommerce. Undertaking unconventional design projects has given me great understanding of the global fashion market. Immaculately range planning with deeply guided fashion forecast and trend analysis is my niche. Working closely with teams and skilled workers has been great learning process. I advocate sustainable practices in my design process - from sourcing, making and mass manufacturing.Exhibiting my debut collection at the IBFW ( India Beach Fashion Week, Goa 2012 ) was a great kick start as a young fashion designer. My working experience in the fashion industry has given me confidence in my ability to design, create, visualize a product - also to correctly position the product in the market to ensure sale. Working experience with start - ups and established brands has equipped me well to navigate the ever changing tides of the fashion industries.
