I’m a Computer Science graduate from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) with a Master’s in CS and a Bachelor’s in CS & Statistics, focused on building immersive and AI-driven interactive systems.My experience spans extended reality (XR), simulation, and machine-learning-powered visualization, across research, immersive learning, and industry. I’ve worked as a Graduate Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at UIUC, a Software Engineer at UIUC’s Stu/dio and Immersive Learning Lab, and a Data Engineering Intern at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals.Highlights of my work include:• Developing VR learning and simulation tools in Unreal Engine and Unity• Building interactive 3D web visualizations with Three.js and WebGL• Integrating AI and LLM-powered assistants into analytical and visualization tools• Strengthening enterprise ETL pipelines and analytics workflowsI’m especially interested in roles involving XR, computer graphics, and simulation-based learning, and I enjoy building systems that combine strong technical foundations with meaningful user experiences. Software Engineer
May 2024 — Present
As a Software Engineer, I developed a VR Archaeology Simulation in Unreal Engine 5 and C++, implementing a user onboarding tutorial, a custom camera system for photo capture, a flag-placement system for marking ground objects, grid-based excavation mechanics, and level scripting to support immersive fieldwork training, reducing field school costs by over $500 per student. I also developed a VR Rocket and Flight Simulation in Unreal Engine 5 and C++, enabling students to manipulate aircraft orientation and observe real-time CFD flow behavior. Currently, I am developing a full-stack application for single-session interventions (SSI) focused on improving access to adolescent mental health support.
