    Develop and refine disease- and drug-specific clinical protocols to maximize patient adherence and promote evidence-based, cost-effective care while meeting business targets and client expectations • Serve as a clinical resource to the corporate Clinical Services Department providing recommendations and guidance on drug product selection • Perform Drug Utilization Reviews with a focus on appropriate medication selection, drug interactions, allergies, therapeutic drug monitoring, and other relevant information to maximize medication adherence and optimize patient outcomes • Collaborate with physicians to manage drug regimens that are in-line with patient needs, formulary standards, insurer expectations, organization protocols, and current clinical practice guidelines • Ensure pharmacy dispensing is compliant with prior-authorization procedures relative to each patient and insurer, collaborating with the reimbursement team for insurance audits as needed • Provide clinical support to the Sales and Marketing Department, assisting with client presentations and review of marketing materials • Manage quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives, playing an active role in defining and supporting these programs • Coordinate pharmacy services with nursing, admissions, reimbursement, sales, and marketing to ensure an efficient, customer-focused approach • Provide compounding, dispensing, and clinical monitoring services prescribed by physicians or other authorized medical personnel, recommending drug therapy changes to providers • Comply with all local, state, and federal accrediting rules and regulations • Supervise staff members to support pharmacy workflow and operations, including quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, financial profitability, and regulatory compliance • Maintain accurate clinical records, including those required to ensure compliance with state and federal reporting for controlled substances dispensed
