ABOUT PRANJAL DEY

Pranjal is presently working as the Head of Accounts & Finance (Deputy Manager Finance) for the after-sales/service operations of West Bengal branch in the Home Appliances Division (HAD) at IFB Industries Ltd. He has previously worked as an Asst. Manager - Internal Audit having an experience of 1.8 years and is based out of Kolkata. During this period, he has audited sales offices/branches across India and also has had brief exposure to audit of Engineering Division (Fine Blanking) and HAD Factories.Prior to IFB, he has worked as a Senior (Grade 1) in the Assurance practice of Ernst & Young Global Delivery Services LLP. He has earlier worked as an Audit Manager in Ghosal, Basu & Ray, Chartered Accountants reporting directly to the managing partner.During his tenure post articleship, Pranjal has dealt with both Internal & Statutory Audit assignments mostly revolving around Paints, Tea, Cement and Banking & Finance sectors. He has also had exposure to Indirect & Direct Tax Assessments including Drafting and representations before AO/PO performed independently.Apart from being an Associate Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Pranjal also holds a Master\'s degree in Commerce specialising in Accounts & Finance from the University of Calcutta. He has completed his schooling from Don Bosco School, Park Circus.Pranjal is an avid numismatist and other interests/hobbies include sketching and photography. He is passionate about Taxation, M&A, Data Analysis, Current Affairs and History.
