Nicobar began with a simple idea: that modern Indian life deserved a brand that reflected it honestly. Not nostalgic or derivative, but rooted in India, and open to the world.
We design clothing, jewellery, homeware and gifts inspired by the Indian Ocean and the ancient trading routes that connect its coastlines. Each season our teams travel these routes, looking at craft, culture, and material with fresh eyes, bringing back what matters and leaving behind what doesn't.
The details are where we live. Fabrics chosen for how they feel over time. Silhouettes built to last more than a season. Jewellery made with intention. Homeware that settles into a life rather than sitting apart from it. We take seriously what we make and how we make it, from the materials we use to the packaging we've spent years rethinking. It's ongoing work, and never a finished story.
