ABOUT PRANEEL SUVARNA
I’m a student leader, advocate, and problem-solver who is passionate about turning bold ideas into results that last. My work brings together policy, community engagement, and innovation to create change that continues long after my time in a role.I have served as the Student Member of the Board for Montgomery County Public Schools, one of the largest districts in the country, and as a three-term Class President. In these positions, I have worked to expand mental health resources, strengthen school safety through a countywide Narcan training mandate for all security assistants, and advance sustainability in schools.Outside of elected office, I have represented thousands of students in regional government, earned recognition as Best Delegate at a major Model UN conference, and partnered with community organizations to elevate youth voices. Whether I am in a board meeting, leading an event, or speaking with students in the hallway, I focus on equity, collaboration, and making an impact people can see and feel.I am committed to building systems and coalitions that empower others to lead and to creating solutions that improve communities well into the future.
