I lead the organization that owns a mission critical tier-0 storage product that powers most of the retail properties including Amazon.com. The storage product provides sub-millisecond latency and provides four 9s of availability, all while serving 110 MM requests per second and storing over 10 petabytes of user data. I largely manage 3 teams of about 30 engineers between Seattle and Sunnyvale that own the storage, routing and a next-generation adaptive layer. The team\'s are responsible for improving QoS, driving down operational costs, reducing infrastructure spend and adding new storage engines to meet customer needs.
