Responsible for preparing the comprehensive annual financial reports including Balance Sheet, P&L, Trial Balance and Cash Flow Statement of the company and assist in the statutory audit for the organisation• Assisting the team in Month Close Activities, preparing the monthly trial balance report and identifying reasons for variances impacting the Balance Sheet and P&L accounts• Conduct the quarterly review for Balance Sheet Accounts and identify the long-term open items, so as to facilitate timely action and accurate representation of numbers at any point in time• Collaborate with the Accounts Payable Team on day-to-day basis for tasks related to payment to vendors, banks and GR-IR. Also worked on standardising the TDS deduction on invoices and saving time for invoice processing• Work with the Vendor Master Team to standardise the vendor onboarding process resulting in reduced time for onboarding and also helping the Accounts Payable Team for TDS deduction• Facilitating seamless coordination between Travel and Employee Expense Management team (TEM), ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions with both banking authorities and employees• Responsible for handling the Direct Taxation for the organisation, including monthly TDS / TCS filing reports, assist in the yearly Tax filings and lead the Tax audit for the organisation• Led the project to digitise the TDS processing system resulting in limited manual involvement and errors in invoice processing• Led the project to inculcate the new TDS section on Free Samples to customers (194R) introduced by Tax authorities in 2022 in the SAP system and educated the Account Managers, Receivables and other stakeholders on the same
