At First Horizon Bank, I lead large-scale data engineering initiatives that power financial insights and fraud detection. I’ve built over 40 DBT models across Databricks and Snowflake, processing 8 TB of data nightly and reducing refresh time from six hours to just ninety minutes. By orchestrating Spark Structured Streaming with Kafka, our fraud alerts now operate at 2 million transactions per second, cutting latency from 18 seconds to 3. I implemented more than 480 Great Expectations and pytest tests in CI/CD pipelines, strengthening data reliability and blocking bad schema merges.
