ABOUT PRANAV RAVI EMBAR

As an enthusiast, I graduated with a thesis titled \'Musculoskeletal Modeling and Functional Characterizations of Hindlimb Muscles of a Bipedal Jerboa.\' My research focused on biomechanically understanding how the jerboa, a highly athletic rodent, produces such extreme movements. They can jump super high and sprint quite quick. My background is in Mechanical Engineering. I\'m interested in problem solving. This further elaborates to specific niches such as Biomechanics, Mechanical Design, R&D, Manufacturing, and related areas. My goal is to pursue research and bring my skills to the healthcare field, innovate, and contribute to making advancements that would benefit the society and people\'s lives.I’m currently working as a consultant to a medical device company. I lead R&D projects, most of them pertaining to 510k Class II medical devices.Specific research interests and key-skills (not limited to)- Product Management, Project management, time management, Musculoskeletal Biomechanics, Multibody modeling, Simulation, Modeling, OpenSim, Muscle segmentation, CAD, Design, Research, Finite Element Analysis, Manufacturing, Spine Biomechanics, Engineering Drawing, Additive manufacturing
