Heading CRM Credit Control team, responsible for maintaining a robust credit risk monitoring and control environment for all the Credit Suisse India entities [ Bank branch and NBFC ].Played a vital role to set up Credit Control desk from scratch for Credit Suisse AG Mumbai branch. Additionally responsible for managing a global desk which includes a wide range of Credit control offshore activities for various regions across the globe.Primary India related activities include managing India team responsible for below task:1. Credit exposure monitoring against both CRM approved and regulatory prescribed limits.2. Regulatory reporting of credit related exposures to RBI.3. Management reporting of credit exposures4. Effective management of credit committee meetings 5. Work closely with other shared service dept. e.g. Operations, Financial Control, Legal & Compliance.6. Provide support to the credit officer and perform some client account opening/suitability/ exposure checks required by the local regulations eg CIBIL checks, SMA checks. Handle New Business Initiatives for India.8. Fronting all audits for credit control - RBI, Statutory, Concurrent and Internal audits.Primary Offshore related activities: 1. Responsible for maintaining static data in credit system of entire bank. Queries handled from various teams across dept. from all the regions.2. Providing quality reports to Credit officers / credit analyst team across the globe to maintain their portfolio. Responsible for maintaining certain important process around Non Credit Bearing trades, Structured Trades, Early Termination options, Long Form Agreements etc. Analyse & approve access request raised by teams from entire APAC region for credit system of the bank. Ensure all new front office dealers are trained to use credit system & escalate non compliance.6. Take part in UAT testing for enhancements in credit systems.
