About Pranav Goyal
I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Robotics at the University of Michigan, where my research focuses on developing efficient navigation algorithms that enable robots to move seamlessly in human-centered environments. My technical expertise in Python and 3D Vision further strengthened through an internship at Mercedes-Benz Research and Development supports my goal of making complex robotic systems more robust, adaptable, and universally accessible.Previously, as a Research Officer at the National University of Singapore, I worked on navigation strategies for quadrupeds in crowded settings. This role built upon my experience at Carnegie Mellon University\'s Biorobotics Lab, where my bachelor’s thesis explored control methods for multi-legged robots. Across these experiences, I have been consistently driven by the challenge of creating methods that empower robots to operate effectively beyond controlled laboratory environments.
