ABOUT PRANAV BODAWALA
I began my journey as a software engineer at the University of Alberta, where I gained a strong background in computer software engineering. Upon graduation, I entered the workforce with a diverse set of technical abilities, including proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, SQL, NoSQL, Java, and C/C++, as well as experience in tools like GitHub, VSCode, Figma, JIRA, Netlify, Postman, Vultr servers, Google Firebase, and Nginx. I quickly made a name for myself by delivering successful projects, such as when I led a team of three frontend developers to rapidly deliver a MVP in one month utilizing ReactJS and Agile methodologies. I also successfully implemented security features to block IPs that stream illegal content. I am an effective communicator and a team player, I have coordinated with the backend team and established an effective development process, including Git methodology, requirement gathering, design, branch naming conventions, and robust CICD pipelines and code quality tools for the project. My ability to streamline the process for efficiency and robustness earned me recognition from my peers, manager, and directors. Currently, I am leading the development of an open-source public link shortening website, utilizing NodeJS, React, MySQL, and Docker containers to deliver an unparalleled performance and user experience.
