I hold a postgraduate degree in General Management from XLRI Jamshedpur and a graduate degree in Mining Engineering from IIT (ISM), Dhanbad. Currently, I serve as a Technical Director in KPMG India’s Mining & Metals advisory practice.With over 19 years of experience in the mining and metals industry, I have spent nearly 16 years in the industry and about 3 years as a Management Consultant. I advise a diverse range of clients in the mining and metals sector, including governments, public sector organizations, and private enterprises.My expertise spans business development, commercials, sales and marketing, business transformation, performance improvement through digital enablement, business strategy and planning, policy design, cost optimization, revenue augmentation, capacity building, bid advisory, and project management.I have extensive experience collaborating with senior management on Integrated Business Planning to achieve overall business goals. I have independently managed various projects across different streams.In the mining industry, I have worked across the entire value chain, from pre-mining activities such as exploration to the sales of minerals and coal. My experience includes commodities like iron, coal, diamond, manganese, and lithium.Beyond India, I have worked in geographies such as Australia, France, and Indonesia.Entrepreneurship is my passion. I enjoy working independently, taking risks, and owning my work.On the personal front, I am married to an intelligent and beautiful wife who is a hemato-oncologist by profession, and I cherish the company of my two lovely kids.
