About Pramod Malipatil
As a Simulation engineer at Capgemini, I perform simulations on fuel economy and range estimations for 4 wheelers with various VDE combinations and added payloads. Also analyse the simulation results to identify the cause of variations in the trend. Wrote M-script for prerequisites for simulations and for post processing of simulation results.As a System Simulation Engineer at Matter, I work on developing and validating model-based design (MBD) of electric powertrain systems for electric vehicles. I use Matlab Simulink, M-script, and other tools to perform powertrain component sizing and selection, data analysis, and verification and validation (V&V) of the system models and simulations.Before joining Matter in Dec 2022, I was a Powertrain Engineer at Decibels Lab for over a year, where I was involved in electric vehicle testing, validation, and integration. I gained hands-on experience in conducting vehicle tests, collecting and processing test data, and troubleshooting and resolving issues. I also contributed to the design and development of powertrain control algorithms and software. I have a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management, where I learned the fundamentals of mechanical engineering, vehicle dynamics, and design. I also developed my skills in skill development, project management, and communication. I am passionate about electric vehicles, simulation, and innovation, and I aim to apply my knowledge and skills to create sustainable and efficient mobility solutions.
