Established in 1987, PIL was born out of the vision to create a healthcare company that would address to the compassionate healthcare needs. Psychotropics is derived from our initial focus on psychiatry and Topical products, which over the years have grown into various therapeutic segments like cardiovascular, gynecology, dermatology, anti diabetic, antibiotics & anti-infectives, anti histamines, analgesics, acute pain killers, OTC/ FMCG products, pet care products & medicated soaps.
Our commitment and drive have boosted our growth from a single manufacturing facility at Faridabad, Haryana now a range of three more multi formulation manufacturing facilities in a pollution free & lush green surroundings at India’s finest industrial area at SIDCUL, Haridwar, in Uttrakhand, India. At present all of the three manufacturing facilities are approved WHO GMP facilities.
PIL is a very well known brand in the Indian market, particularly in the North India, Central India & Gujarat. It is headquartered at Faridabad, an industrial town about 20 miles from New Delhi airport.
As a medium sized company PIL operates in different verticals. The largest vertical is its generic business. PIL’s products are purchased and used by the leading hospitals, nursing homes and clinics which dispense medicines. The second large segment is exports. At present, PIL products are being exported to Africa, South East Asia and in more than 30 countries. Exports business is increasing as many new products are being registered in many countries. The other verticals include the oldest one – prescription business with a focus on Dermatology , Pain Management etc. Institutional – supplying to leading government Institutions, OTC and Animal Healthcare. Many of PIL’s brands are in a leadership position in the Generic market and are preferred by the doctors due to its high quality and good results.
