Develop detailed layouts and electrical design packages for solar PV systems that meet all contractual, code, and permitting requirements and provide value engineering solutions during development, proposal, pre-construction and construction phases. • Coordinate with civil and structural engineering team to obtain detailed civil and structural design packages that meet all contractual and permitting requirements. • Develop single-line and three-line diagrams with required electrical details for solar PV systems in accordance with NEC, NESC, utility interconnection tariffs and requirements, and local AHJ as necessary. • Assess the solar resources and expected energy output of proposed solar projects by working on PVsyst and SAM model to optimize the solar field size and output. • Perform site visits as needed to verify that construction agrees with engineering design drawings, including preparatory meetings, and QA/QC and attend meetings with clients, State and local permitting authorities, subcontractors, and vendors regarding engineering and technical issues related to the solar PV system.
